Extraordinary in character, our Caffe Strano is a unique and definitely not ordinary gelato. We’ve partnered with East Van’s Strange Fellows Brewing, a local brewery that celebrates the strange and extraordinary. The beer they make is influenced both by old world heritage and west coast innovation. Handcrafted in small batches by our maestro, this seasonal gelato is made with their Breakfast with Boris Stout, a rich and powerful Bourbon-barrel aged stout brewed with Canadian Pale Malt and Timbertrain’s single origin Columbian roast coffee with pure single origin liquid cacao. We’ve upped the intensity adding Lavazza’s Intenso Espresso from Italy, as well as creamy Avalon Dairy organic milk and cream from the Fraser Valley, along with a dollop of pure Quebec maple syrup. Raise your glass or should we say spoon, for the deliciously “strange” and extraordinary Caffe Strano!
