With the welcome return of warmer, sunnier weather, strawberry season has returned and I’ve crafted a delicious seasonal Stawberry gelato. As maestro for our artisan gelateria, I only use the freshest Fraser Valley strawberries — this year’s crop I’ve sourced from Berry Haven Farms in Abbotsford.
To these naturally sweet and juicy berries, for the gelato I’ve churned in Fraser Valley cream and organic milk from Avalon Dairy, and a touch of pure maple syrup from Quebec. See Amelie and me make the strawberry gelato from scratch in our new video.
