It’s one of the prettiest times of the year with our city’s tree lined boulevards bursting with pretty, pink petals. Every April, Vancouver like the cherry capital of Italy, Vignola, shakes off the winter doldrums with their annual Cherry Blossom festivals. This week their Festa dei Ciliegi is underway and we’re celebrating spring’s beauty (and the return of warm weather) with one of our most popular gelatos – Very Cherry.
It’s chock full of Swiss chocolate Fleur de Cao nuggets (70% cacao) by Barry Callebaut, Amarena Italian sour cherries, and churned with wholesome B.C. cream and organic milk from Avalon Dairy, along with a touch of pure maple syrup from Quebec. Life is a bowl of very cherries!
