We’re thrilled to celebrate the arrival of spring this week as well as International Artisan Gelato Day. This delectable day was established by the European Union with the goal to promote artisanal craftsmanship and support the production of quality artisanal gelato. It has become a fixed date that marks the official start of the season for enjoying one of the world’s most loved treats.
Our maestro Andres Bermudez is formally trained in the craft of artisan gelato and sorbetto making with an Advanced Gelato certificate from the renowned Gelato University Carpigiani, in Bologna, Italy. He has over a dozen freshly churned, seasonal and classic flavours at our Kits shop. It’s a good excuse to try something new or enjoy a longtime favourite (how about our Akbar Mashti or Very Cherry gelato or Mango Tango or Passion Fruit sorbetto)?
