Just as sweet and creamy tasting as our regular gelato, our new No Sugar Added Hazelnut gelato is Divina! Inspired by Dante’s verses, “Round was she, beautiful, and of noble aspect,” on the Queen of Hazelnuts from Langhe, this special creation is crafted with locally roasted hazelnuts from Italy. Our maestro has churned in BC cream and organic milk from the happy Avalon Dairy cows and a dash of Vancouver Island Sea Salt. For sweetness, we’ve added the naturally derived sweeteners, Maltitol and Erythritol that taste like sugar but with few of the calories. Poetic. Epic. Divine!
